Several protesters were tased and arrested at a Georgia town hall hosted by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.

On Tuesday (April 15), Greene held a town hall at the Acworth Community Center, where disruptions broke out almost immediately after the Republican lawmaker took the stage to speak, per ABC News.

At least six attendees were escorted out of the event without incident, while three others were arrested. Two of the protestors were stunned with a Taser during their removal.

"Well, welcome everyone," Greene said as police removed the protesters. "Thank you, thank you to our great police officers… This is not a political rally. This is not a protest. If you stand up and want to protest, if you want to shout and chant, we will have you removed, just like that man was thrown out."

According to police, a man was tased for not complying with authorities as they tried to escort him out of the meeting for interrupting.

"This is a peaceful town hall. Now this is a peaceful town hall, ladies and gentlemen, this should not have to happen," Greene said.

During Tuesday's town hall, Greene addressed ICE officials sending Maryland man Kilmar Abrego Garcia to El Salvador by error last month.

The congresswoman claimed the media was "trying to defend an illegal alien that is a member of MS-13 that was deported to his home country, El Salvador."

"That is shameful, and that should never happen," she said.

Following her remarks, another protester was removed from the town hall.

"Bye," Greene said. "Just like that illegal alien," she said, despite Abrego Garcia's legal status.

Protestors also lined the street amid Greene's town hall appearance. Following the rally, Greene told reporters that the interruptions were "out of line," citing that there was a place designated for demonstrators outside of the venue, "because we support their First Amendment right."
